One of our students, Alexandra 'Ilana' Krieger, was involved in a serious auto accident on March 27. She was rushed to a trauma center at Tampa General Hospital where she is presently being treated. While her injuries are reported by her mother to be non-life threatening, she has some serious healing to do. The family gave me permission to post this and advises that a blog is being set up for her shortly. If any student would like to send a card or other 'Get well' item, it can be sent to Ilana Krieger, 4427 37th St E, Bradenton, FL 34203. Speaking for everyone in our college community, we wish Ilala and her family all the best and we wish Ilana a speedy recovery.

This makes me very sad and I enjoyed having llana as my classmate and enjoyed working with her this semester.  I will send her a canine-related get well card.
